1 c light Karo syrup
1 c granulated sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 c. crunchy or creamy Peanut Butter
1 c. oatmeal
2 c. acceptable corn flakes (or other favorite cereal)
2 c. crisp rice cereal
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips (optional)
Pour corn syrup, sugar, and salt into a large saucepan. Stir over med. heat until sugar dissolves and mixture begins to boil. Stir in Peanut Butter. Remove from heat and stir in oatmeal, corn flakes and crisp rice cereal. Pour into greased 8-inch square pan and let cool. Make fun shapes with easter egg, bunny and butterfly cookie cutters.
Optional: Melt chocolate chips in small saucepan over low heat. Using small spoon, dot onto shapes in any design you prefer.
