LEMON CUSTARD

1 C          Sugar
1/4 C       Cornstarch
1-1/2C     Cold water
3              Egg yolks,  lightly beaten
1              Lemons, grated peel
1/4 C        Lemon juice
1 tbsp       Butter


In medium saucepan comgine lemon and sugar.  Gradually stir in water.  Add egg yolks, stir.   Heat on medium high stirring constantly.  Bring to boil.  Boil 1 minute.  It gets very thick.  Remove from heat and stir in remaining ingredeints.  Serve in bowls or pour into a cooked pie shell.
