Cream together 2cups butter
2 cups sugar
2cups brown sugar
add 4 eggs
mix in 4 cups flour
5 cups oatmeal( turned to powder in blender)
1tsp salt
2tsp baking powder
2tsp baking soda
2 tsp vanilla
Add in 24oz choc chips
8 oz plain choc bar finely grated..I use Newman'Own
Optional 3cups chopped nuts
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet- golf ball sized balls 2" apart
Bake at 400 for 8 to 10 mins
