GINGER BREAD HOUSE 2

6 cups flour
3 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp ground allspice
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup molasses
2 egg yolks
1/2 cup cold water

Combine flour, cinnamon, ginger, allspice, and salt. Set aside.

Beat butter and sugar at high speed until fluffy. Add molasses and egg yolks and beat until smooth. Continue beating as you add flour mixture a little at a time, then add water. Dough should be stiff and slightly dry.

Roll out as needed for your gingerbread house. Bake at 325-350 for 20 minutes. Let cool on cookie sheet for 10 minutes, then slid onto cookie racks. Trim pieces smooth while still warm.
