1 C Soft butter
5/8 C Sugar
2-1/2 C Sifted flour
Make sure the butter is room temperature. Mix the butter and sugar together by using a spoon or by hand; add flour. Roll dough out on lightly floured surface 1/2 inch thick. Cut with cutters and place on cookie sheet. Bake in a preheated 300 degree oven for 20-25 minutes or until slightly brown. Cool.
