1 Beaten egg
1/2 Cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
2 tblsp melted shortening
1 cup sifted flour
2 tspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

combine in seperate bowl
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tlbsp flour
1 tlbsp melted butter
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Combine egg, sugar, milk and shortening.
Add flour sifted with baking powder and salt. Mix well and pour into greased and floured 8x8x2 baking pan.
Sprinkle with topping mixture . bake at 375 for 20 - 25 min
