1-1/2 C Flour
1 C Sugar
1/2 tsp Salt
3 tbsp Cocoa
1 tsp Baking soda
1 tsp Vanilla
1 tbsp White vinegar
5 tbsp Oil ( can use pear sauce for lower fat cake)
Preheat oven to 350. Sift dry ingredients together; add vanilla, vinegar, and oil. Mix well. Pour into greased 9 inch baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Frost or sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
This recipe can be doubled.
