3 c. flour
2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. cocoa powder
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. vegetable oil
2 T. vinegar
4 tsp. vanilla
2 c. milk
2 c. chocolate chips
Grease rectangular cake pan. Combine 1st 5 ingredients in pan and mix well with a fork. Make 3 wells for the oil, vinegar and vanilla. Pour milk over all and mix all ingredients with a fork until well blended. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top. Bake at 350* for 40 minutes. Cool in pan for 15 minutes then cut and serve directly from pan.
This freezes and microwaves well. Divine when warm and served with a side of vanilla ice cream! My 8 and 10 year olds can make this independently.
