| DOROTHY'S CHOCOLATE ANGEL CAKE 8 oz angel food cake broken into pieces 12 oz pkg chocolate chips 2 tablespoons sugar 3 eggs separated 1 pt whipping cream 1) In a double boiler, melt chocolate chips with sugar. 2) When chips and sugar are melted, remove from heat. 3) Stir in beaten yokes. 4) Beat egg whites until stiff: whip cream. 5) Fold whites & cream into chocolate mixture. 6) In an 8x12 buttered pan, layer the cake pieces, cover with 1/2 chocolate mixture and the rest of the cake, and then the rest of the chocolate mixture. |
