CHICKEN BROCCOLI ZITTI

This is one of my family's favorites. I don't measure since I make it so often, so here is the general recipe:

Start cooking some pasta - ziti or penne works well. Cut up some boneless chicken; I use about 1 1/2 pounds or so for my dh, 2 young sons and me.

Take some minced garlic (I use the stuff in the jar) about 2 tsps and warm it in some olive oil. Add in the chopped chicken and some butter.

While the chicken and pasta are cooking, steam some broccoli (or you can just cut it up and add it toward the end of the chicken's cooking time)

Season the chicken with more garlic, salt, pepper and parmesan cheese to taste.

When the pasta is done, drain it and add to the chicken with more oil or butter and more cheese. Then, stir in the broccoli and adjust the seasoning to taste.

This is always a hit and makes great leftovers too.
