LEMON GARLIC CHICKEN

1/2 C           Fresh lemon juice
6 tbsp          Olive oil
6                  Chicken pieces with skin and bone
4                  Cloves minced garlic
1/2 C           Sliced mushroom caps
                     Salt to taste
                     Pepper to taste

Preheat broiler.   In a small bowl mix lemon juice, 2 tbsp olive oil, and garlic.  Dip one chicken pieces at a time and coat it completely.  In a baking pan layer chicken and salt and pepper.  Arrange broiler rack six inches from heat.   Broil the chicken for 12-15 minutes . Turn and pour remaining juice on chicken.  While the chicken cooks put remaining olive oil in pan and saute mushrooms over medium  high heat for 5-6 minutes.  Set aside.  When chicken is done pour mushrooms over chicken and return to oven to warm.
