Baked Squash Casserole

1 medium squash or 1 frozen package
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons brown sugar
salt and pepper to taste
half-and-half or milk
crushed corn flakes for topping

Either steam or bake the squash, or use the frozen product. Mash with butter and brown sugar. Salt and pepper to taste. Add half-and-half or milk until the right consistency. Put in greased casserole with a topping of finely crushed cornflakes mixed with a little melted butter. Reheat in 350 degree oven.
