EASY CROCK POT CHICKEN

1 1/2 lbs skinned chicken drumsticks (6 pieces)
and
3 lbs skinless chicken thighs (6 pieces)
[or any combination of chicken pieces...I used skin-on breasts and drumsticks.....to make 3-4 lbs]

1/3 cup pear juice (this was my substitution for the white wine

1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 teaspoon Oregano
1/2 teaspon basil
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon dried tarragon
[The recipe called for 14 1/2 ounces stewed tomatoes undrained....if you are Stage 2 & tomatoes are ok, you could use this]
I substitued 1 1/2 cups of Un-tomato sauce and 1 can of sliced carrots (cooked)

Recipe also called for 2 teaspoons of chicken flavored bouillon granules....I substituted 1/3 cup FG approved chicken broth

Place chicken in the crockpot, stir in all other ingredients. Cover with lid and cook on high-heat setting for 1 hour. Reduce heat to ow and cook 3 1/2 hours

Serve with rice.
