| TERIYAKI CHICKEN WINGS IN A CROCK POT On the stove top it brought the following to a boil, then simmered on low until it became a thick sticky sauce: 1 cup sugar 1/4 cup vinegar 1/4 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup soy vay island teriyaki Directions: 1) In a cast iron pan, "fry" 2 lbs of chicken wings that had been cut in half (tips discarded). 2) Drain excess fat. 3) Put the chicken wings in the crockpot, pour on the sauce all over the chicken wings. Stir well. 4) Put it on high (4 hours) You can prepare all of this the night before, refridgerate it, then bring it out in the morning and set if for whatever number of hours you want to cook it for. Do not add water with this recipe. The chicken will give off enough moisture to make a nice sauce. |
