MOCK TOFFEE

1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter (2 cubes)
nonstick cooking spray
35 saltines (approximate)
1 (12 ounce) package chocolate chips
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Melt butter and sugar in saucepan. Bring to a boil and boil 3 minutes, without stirring. While mixture is boiling, spray a 10" x 15" jelly roll pan with nonstick cooking spray. Line the pan with saltines. After sugar mixture has boiled 3 minutes, pour over crackers, covering all. Bake 5 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over top. Smooth out as chips melt. Sprinkle chopped nuts evenly over top and chill in refrigerator until firm. Break into pieces and enjoy!
