MARSHMALLOW  BUNNIES & CHICKS


3-1/2 tsp        Gelatin,plain
1/4 C             Water
1/4 C             Water
1-1/4 C          Sugar
3/4 C             Inverted Sugar
3/8 C             Corn Syrup
1/2 tsp           Vanilla
                      Flavoring & Coloring (optional)
                      Colored Sugar (optional)

In a mixing bowl soak gelatin in water.
In a saucepan heat sugar, inverted sugar and water; heat but do not boil  Pour over gelatin mixture a little at a time beating.  Gradually add vanilla and syrup and beat with a mixer on medium until mixture is doubled and creamy white. Color mixture as desired keep bowl in large bowl of hot water to keep mixture from setting.  Butter Molds and pour into.  Let set for 1hour.  Remove from molds and roll in sugar.  Let dry for a few hours  before storing.
