Stage 1 breakfast bread

Layer ingredients in the following order...

1 cup of water or milk
2 eggs (may substitute 1/4 cup water)
2 tsp. allspice or cinnamon
1/4 cup chopped dried pears
3 T. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 cups white bread flour
1/2 cup chopped pecans
2 1/4 tsp. yeast
Frosting for glaze (optional)

Set on dough setting. When finished, divide into two loaves, and let rise in pans. Bake at 350 for 20 min. Top with glaze, let set to cool. We like to serve it with cream cheese.

Hint: Set your bread maker so it finishes about the time you are getting out of bed in the morning, if you'd like a fresh, hot loaf!
