FLAX SEED BREAD

Before using, first grind the flax seed in a spice/coffee grinder, processor or blender to a granular consistency to release its inner phytonutrients.

1 1/3 cups water
2 tablespoons canola oil
3 tablespoons honey
1 1/2 cups white bread flour
1 1/3 cups whole wheat bread flour
1/2 cup flax seed, coarsely ground
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons active dry yeast

Add ingredients to bread machine pan according to manufacturers directions.
Select Basic White cycle and press Start.
Makes one 1 1/2 pound loaf.
