BEAN DIP

1#               Dry pinto beans
1 large      Onion
1/2 tbsp     Garlic
1/2 tbsp     Cumin
8-16 oz      Cream cheese
8-16 oz      Sour cream
1/2#           Shredded cheddar or monteray jack cheese
                  Approved salsa ~   Stage 2

Cook beans according to packaged directions plain.  After cooking them place them in crock pot.  Place ingredients in pot; put more or less cream cheese, sour cream in depending on how creamy you like it.  Sharp cheese gives stronger flavor. Cook on medium for 8 hours or on low for 4 hours.

Serve with tortiallas or pita bread.
