CHOCOLATE CHIP BARS

Mix  wet ingredients thoroughly:
2/3 C butter
1/2 C honey (OR 1 C sugar with 1 Tbsp molasses)(not both)
1 Egg
1 tsp. pure vanilla
SIFT dry ingredients:
1 1/2 C flour
1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
ADD to wet ingredients & mix together well.
ADD 1/2 C pecans & 1 C chocolate pieces
SPREAD in greased pan 13" x 9 1/2" x 2"
BAKE in 375 degrees oven for 20 to 25 minutes.
This makes 48 bars.
Note: If you want a little healthy fiber, add 1/4 C. dry oatmeal.
