Our objectives:
a. to support a peace based, ethical economic investment strategy for the North West
b. to preserve the integrity of the peace process by refusing to exploit insecurity and war in distant places, to support local employment.
c. to campaign for transparent and accountable local government in Derry
d. to promote ethical investment and fair trade in Derry
The arrival of Raytheon Systems Limited to create a software plant in Derry has raised concerns among local people that the principles of the Anglo-Irish peace process are about to be sold out by local politicians.
A campaign for a peace-based local economy - to replace the desperate pursuit of the arms trade - has been launched in the North West.
