James Thomas Jacobs
               "JT"
  1/30/1981 - 7/1/2002
James Thomas Jacobs, JT, was one of the founding members of the band Moe Black from Charlotte, NC.
He was a good friend and a free-spirited person. He was always quick to help out anyone that needed it with a smile or words of...wisdom. I remember going out in downtown Wilmington, NC and travelling on the road with the band and getting into everything we could. Always smiling and quick with a joke, JT helped me through a couple of the roughest times in my life and was always a welcome sight for sore eyes when I was mixing sound at the Firebelly Lounge. He and I would have long talks about Star Wars and other philosophical topics that we could think of as we played Rogue Leader on his Game Cube.

JT left this world on the morning of July 1st, 2002 and will be forever sorely missed by those that knew and loved him. Though I know I will see you in the next world, I will never forget the time I was fortunate enough to spend with you. May the Force be with you ......always.
"Deep in your soul, their rainbows fall on you.
And heavens words sing
to angels, but me I'll sing
to you."
