Love is kind and love is sharing.
Love is given and love is taken.
Real true love cannot be shaken.
It comes to us on hooves or paws...
on feathered wings or scratchy claws.
It barks or purrs or squawks or brays,
while running, rolling, or hard at play.
It's found in a touch, a look, or nuzzle.
Some of us find it's no easy puzzle!
But to those little creatures we hold so dear,
it's as easy as pie and crystal clear.
So, if you haven't hugged your pet today,
have no fear... You're loved anyway!
