My life was void of love
Until you came and showed me how
I left my troubles far behind me
And started living here and now



My road seemed long and winding
But you guided me from the start
As you came and took up residence
Within the confines of my heart



There were no colors in my rainbow
And my skies were dull and grey
But you filled my life with color
On the day you came my way



My flowers soon had more fragrance
And the clouds had a silver lining
My days seemed so much brighter
And like a diamond, I was shining



You filled my heart with love
Soon my heartaches were no more
How I beamed when in your presence
With the smile that I now wore



I felt capable of anything
As your love lifted me high above
You filled my life with happiness
When you came and showed me love
