If I had never met you,
I¹d have found a girl like you.
One who had your beauty,
Your poise and your grace too.

One who had the tender heart
That I came to love in you.
One who¹d say she loves me,
In the way you also do.

A girl whose eyes when opened
Would shine as bright as yours.
And place in my heart like you dear,
A symphony of verse.

If I had never met you,
Then let me simply say,
I¹d have traveled the whole world over,
And found you anyway.
