Each day brings us closer to tommorrow.
Lessening a little more of our sorrow.
All of the mistakes that were made.
As our memories begin to fade.
Around us, weeds have grown.
Something new, something unknown.
Missing that innocent look in your eyes.
You deserve more than my web of lies.
Near the tunnels edge is light.
In time, we will do what is right.
Wishing to start a new life with you,
And all the things to look forward to.
I have faith, we will be alright.
Only with God's help, both day and night.
The loneliness of always being alone.
Familiar sadness, that I have always known.
Facing each day, as I awake.
Growing from each mistake I make.
All I promise, is to do my best.
Not stopping much, except to rest.
This lesson is learned, and nothing less.
Broken hearted, and such a mess.
My love for you grew even stronger,
Wishing now for just a moment longer.
Don't know what to do,
To ease the hurt of losing you.
