| Chapter 56
*** July 2005 *** Well, here we are once again! A lot happened in the last few months. Sarah and Mark got married in a lavish wedding bash a week after my 21st birthday party in November. They are now living in Sligo and enjoying life as a married couple. They are expecting their first child in December. Lee and Marita are still going strong, they had celebrated their anniversary as a couple, though there is no wedding bells yet. Lee had confided to me some weeks ago that he definitely the right one and that he was surprised they still together one year on. He was always splitting up with other girls after a month or so but Marita had changed him around completely that he doesnt make a fool of himself when hes out on the town!! Duncan is still going out with his Australian girlfriend Stacey. They are to marry in 2006 in Australia. Duncan popped the question to her on holiday in Hawaii a couple of months ago. Im already looking forward to the wedding as Stacey had asked me and Marita to be her bridesmaids along with her sister as maid of honour. The three of us had become very close friends since both Stacey and Marita are with Lee and Duncan. Katy and Antony are still together, Ant is a prefect guy for Katy. They are closer to each other than ever which is a good thing for their relationship. Katy has been such a star of a mate despite our fallings out in the past but that all in the past, and look to the future. Im so glad I met her and Sarz otherwise I wouldnt be with Kian, the love of my life. And lastly, Simon is going out with a lovely girl called Linneke for a couple of months now, they are taking it slow as they dont want to jinx their relationship. They both feel they are prefect for each other. I really do hope so because they both get on well and everything else who loves their lives to the full. I guess thats about with the couples apart from Nicky and Shane (Westlife) are still happily married to Georgina and Gillian. I bet you the readers are want to know whats going on between Kian and I! *laughs* You will have to wait and see! *** The Wedding Day *** Today is mine and Kian Egans wedding day in Kerry, my home place in the south of Ireland. I have just arrived at the cathedral in a limousine with Lee besides me. I had asked Lee to give me away because hes a special person in my heart with our friendship. My father didnt mind Lee walking me up the aisle instead of him which was a relief. I got my wedding dress in Paris with the help of Katy and Sarz. I was wearing a beautiful beaded corset and skirt with a train with red roses on it. I also wore a sparkly crystal tiara with a veil while the bridesmaids looked equally beautiful in soft pink strapless dressed with matching stiletto heals. The music started as I entered inside the church with Lee, he could see I was nervous. He whispered, Dont be nervous, I be handing you over to Kian when we get to the top taking my arm into his. As the bridesmaids stride along the aisle, I could see Kian smiling. I grinned shyly. When we got to Kian, Lee handed my hand to kian who soon will be my lawful husband. Kian kissed me on my cheek and whispered, You look absolutely stunning. I smiled, So do you. As the ceremony got underway, we proudly exchanged the wedding rings without any blunders. The ceremony finished eventually, we both kissed for the first time as husband and wife to the delight of our wedding guests clapped and whistling. The members of Blue and Westlife were whooping loudly than anyone in the church which made us laugh. We posed for photographs before making our way out of the church to the awaiting crowd that gathered outside the church gates including the media to capture us on our special day. We waved to the fans and thanked for their best wishes messages and support. Then we go into the awaiting wedding car to take us to the hotel where our reception is. We had chosen a hotel that was only 15 minutes away from the church overlooking the Lakes of Killarney; we were blessed with beautiful weather on the day. In the car, Kian asked me, What is it like to be Mrs. Egan? I grinned, I love it, so happy I married you. I love you so much I love you too, thank you for coming into my life. I cant wait for the honeymoon, you gonna love it baby grinning. When are you going to tell me where we are going? You will find out tonight as he kissed me. We arrived at the reception; the manager of the hotel greeted us with glasses of champagne and congratulated us. Then the two of us went down to the lake for more photographs. We appeared back at the hotel in time for dinner. *** Meanwhile at the Reception *** Before we joined our families and friends in the banquet room, we listened out for Lee to say Stand up for the bride and groom as we entered to thunderous applause. Kian and I decided that the speeches are to be done before dinner is served. Kians best man was Mark, he kept it short by thanking everyone coming to the wedding and he also said that we are a truly wonderful couple and I wish them all the best for the future. He continued for another few minutes with stories from Westlife which had us in stitches. Then it was Kians turn to do his speech, just like Mark, he kept short and simple by thanking the bridesmaids, best men, Lee for giving me away, both sets of families and siblings before turning to me to say Thank you for bringing me so much joy and happiness into my life, I love you and thats all theres to it! I stood up to give him a kiss on his lips. We sat down as dinner was just being served. Kian, thank you for everything and I love you with all my heart. He smiled and affectionately linked my hand with his under the table! After the dinner finished, it was time for us to have our first dance as husband and wife with Lee and the boys singing This I Promise You by *NSync as we danced. *** This I Promise You *** Ooohh, oohhhhhh When the visions around you, bring tears to your eyes And all that surrounds you, are secrets and lies I'll be your strength, I'll give you hope Keeping your faith when it's gone The one you should call, was standing here all along Chorus: And I will take, you in my arms, and hold you right where you belong 'Till the day my life is through, this I promise you This I promise you I've loved you forever, in lifetimes before And I promise you never, will you hurt anymore I give you my word, I give you my heart This is a battle we've won And with this vow forever has now begun Just close your eyes, each loving day And know this feeling won't go away, nooo 'Till the day my life is through, this I promise you This I promise you Over and over I fall, when I hear you call Without you in my life baby I just wouldn't be living at all Chorus: And I will take, (I will take you in my arms), you in my arms And hold you right where you belong (right where you belong) 'Till the day my life is through, this I promise you babe Just close your eyes, each loving day(each loving day) And know this feeling won't go away, (no) Every word I say is true, this I promise you Every word I say is true, this I promise you Ooooooooh I promise you As the night went by, more wedding guests had arrived to join in the celebrations. Then it was time for me and Kian to sing a song for the wedding party. The song we were going to sing is Every Breath You Take by Bryan Adams. We both practiced performing the song behind closed doors as I wanted it to be prefect and it worked out really brilliant at the end, they all loved the performance. Kian and I loved singing it over and over again! *** Every Breathe You Take *** Every breath you take Every move you make Every bond you break Every step you take I'll be watching you Every single day Every word you say Every game you play Every night you stay I'll be watching you Oh can't you see You belong to me My poor heart aches With every step you take Every move you make Every vow you break Every smile you fake Every claim you stake I'll be watching you Since you've gone I been lost without a trace I dream at night I can only see your face I look around but it's you I can't replace I feel so cold and I long for your embrace I keep crying baby, baby, please O can't you see You belong to me My poor heart aches With every step you take Every move you make Every vow you break Every smile you fake Every claim you stake I'll be watching you Every move you make Every step you take I'll be watching you In the early hours of the morning, Kian and I were leaving but there was one thing I had to do first was the throwing of my bouquet. I was standing on the stage with my back turned while the ladies were gathered together on the dancefloor as Kian did the countdown; Marita emerged victorious with the bouquet held aloft as Lee hugged her. *mr.green* Kian and I hugged our families while the Blue and Westlife couples waited for us in the hotel foyer to see us off in the lift to our bridal suite! We giggled like a pair of school kids who had got into trouble in the lift! The bridal suite had a four-poster bed and a Jacuzzi! *winks* I jumped on the bed and found an envelope with my name on it. I excitedly opened it and found it was our honeymoon tickets! Kian grinned looking at my face!! The honeymoon was a Caribbean cruise; I jumped up and down madly around the room kissing Kian everywhere. Kian unzipped my wedding dress kissing my neck and I turned around facing him with the full moon shining down from the sky. |
