*** The Next Day ***
We were gathering together at the airport for the half-eight flight to London Heathrow. I was going to see Lee first thing after landing in London. We boarded the flight and took off for the sky. A few minutes into the flight, I nodded off to sleep in Kian's comfy arms! *laughs* He woke me up when we landed at Heathrow. "Babe, we are here." I sleepily replied "Oh good" unfastening the seat belt; he helped me up from my seat. I whinged, "God, my bum is stiff as a board." Kian laughed, "How about this?" standing right behind me slapping my bum! I started laughing and still was when we entered inside the airport. Gillian asked curiously, "What are you laughing about?" "Nothing" grinning. "Is that so?" looking at us strangely. I laughed "Yea, of course. It's just something to do with Kian" "I see. I can see Kian is totally smitten about you especially in the last few days away from you; he was so moody and miserable without you. *rolls eyes* His eyes lights up every time he sees you straightaway." "Aww Gillian, that's really sweet of you saying it of Kian" "I'm just telling the truth" "Thanks Gill" giving her a hug! We all went our separate ways; the others were going to their places while Kian and I went the other way for Lee's apartment. Kian was heading home after dropping me off at Lee's. A while later, I was standing outside Lee's door and rung the doorbell. Lee eventually answered the door looking worse for the wear. "Cat! What are you doing here?" "Lee, I came to see you and I'm sorry babe" "What you sorry for? We broke up that's all" "Don't take it out at me, I leave if that the way your attitude is" heading for the door. "Cat, I'm sorry. I'm just stressed out after splitting up with her" "I know the feeling and you had to put up with the crying and shouting I done whilst living here with you for a while" rolling my eyes. "I have indeed and you moved on a lot since then" "I know, I thank Kian for that getting my life back on track and you were there for me as well. Lee, other girls will always come around, they always do" winking. "I know that line from somewhere; it's by WL, innit?" "Yea, from 'What Makes a Man'" laughing. Lee joined in the laughing mode "You cheering me up already, even though you are only in the door a few minutes ago" "I know, that's just me being me" "You know what, I'm going to move on, that was just another failed relationship added to my list" rolling his eyes. "Aww, Lee. What did I just say there 2 mins ago? Someone will come along for you" "I know what you said babe. Thanks for cheering me up, you did a better job than Duncan and Stacey yesterday" "Oh, is that the girl he pulled at the club last week?" "Yea, the very one. It's early days for them but it looks promising. He looks happier than he was a few months ago and I mean no offence to you" "Nah, its okay. I'm with Kian now and Duncan had moved on after everything we been through. Let's not dwell on me and Dunk in the past. Now, I think you should freshen up and have a shower" "You right" "I'm always right" poking my tongue out at him. He laughed, "Yup, you are alright" getting back at me by poking his tongue out! He headed for the bathroom for a shower on my orders! *laughs* I made myself comfortable on the couch watching TV but was falling asleep again! *rolls eyes*
I woke up two hours later to someone talking, the next thing I hear Lee telling the person to be quiet as I was asleep. I thought to myself, 'He gonna jump to conclusions now'. I shouted "Lee, its okay. I'm awake now; I was tired after last night. Even thought I slept on the flight this morning." By then, the two lads came into the sitting room along with Dunk's new girlfriend Stacey. Dunk asked, "What were you and Kian up to?" laughing. "Tut tut, nothing like that now. Kian took me out to dinner, so it was great seeing him again after a week apart." "Aww, I can still remember seeing you two all loved up at the club" said Stacey. "Yea, I really love him all my heart" I said quietly knowing that Dunk was in the room. "Listen Catherine, Duncan told me about you two being together and I'm sorry that it didn't work out with everything that happened. The main thing of it all is that ye are still friends" "Yea, it was a tough time but we both moved on now. I'm determined to make my relationship with Kian last forever. Lee was there for me and he is pretty much my best friend and I'm repaying him back by being here for him." "Aww, he's lucky to have such good mates like Dunk and yourself. Dunk tells me you are Irish!" "Yup, I am indeed and proud to be. I have to say your accent is different to what I have heard from other places." *confused* "I'm from Australia" "Oh my god, I want to visit Australia someday, I think it absolutely is one amazing place to visit. So, how is it going with you and Dunk? "Duncan is a sweet gent, so nice and he's so goddamn gorgeous." I laughed, "That's Dunk for you. I wish ye the best with ye two" "Thank you Catherine and I hope it works out for you and Kian. He's a great guy from meeting him at the club. You two were madly in love with all the touching and kissing you been doing all night." I burst out laughing, "Oh god, I had mad fun with him that night." Dunk and Lee looked at me strangely when I started laughing. "What you laughing about?" asked Lee. Before I could say anything, Stacey piped up "We were talking about the night at the club when Kian and herself couldn't keep their hands off each other especially Catherine cornering him after he coming out of the gents' toilets" laughing as she spoke. "Oh yeah, I remember that alright" said Dunk rolling his eyes. I threw a cushion at him "Oi, don't be cheeky. Oh, I hope you taking care of the tree at your place" "Of course I am, I water it when I can" he said quietly. "You always have a good head for remembering." Then all of a sudden, silence fell over us for ten mins or so but it seems like it was hours! Lee broke the silence by telling a joke � 'Two cows in a field. One of the goes 'Moo' and the other one goes, 'You git, I was gonna say that'. We all started laughing, "Good joke Lee. Don't know what came over us all lot with the silence." Duncan said "Yea" "Oooh, I think I better get back to Kian. Didn't realise the time had passed by a lot" "I can drop you off, myself and Stacey are heading home" "No, it's okay. I make my own way home as I don't want to get in the way but thanks for the offer." "Aww, you wouldn't be in the way" said Stacey. "I didn't mean to sound like some stranger but I want to go my own way. Sure, we will meet up another day and I've an early appointment at the hospital in the morning for the cast to be taken off." "That's great Cat, at least you be back dancing on the dancefloor" said Lee. I laughed, "You bet your life, I can't wait to get this off 2moz" while Lee rang a taxi for me. Ten mins later, the arrived, so I said goodbye to Dunk and Stacey. Lee came out with me to the taxi, before I got into the taxi. Lee thanked me for coming by to see him and he appreciated the chats and orders I gave him. *laughs* "Lee, that's what mates are there for" giving him a bear hug. "Love ya babe as a friend of course" "Love you too." I got into the taxi and waved Lee off as we left him standing there.
Half hour later, I arrived home at Kian's. He wasn't at home when I got in, so I sent a text asking him 'Where was he?' He texted back saying 'I'm just in town getting some things, will be home soon as I can. Love ya babe XxX". After that, I went to unpack my bags and put the clothes into the washing machine. Then I went for a shower, I didn't hear Kian come in whilst in the shower. It wasn't until I came out seeing Kian standing against the doorframe holding something in his hand. "Jaysus, what you trying to do, give me a heart attack?" "I didn't mean to startle you but wow, I have to say you are becoming so beautiful as each day comes and goes." By then, I was blushing red as a beetroot, "Aww Kian, don't say that. I'm not beautiful at all." Kian was shocked at my reply "You WHAT??? You are the most beautiful I ever met and she's standing right in front of me dripping wet." I walked over to him and hugged him. "Hey, you got me all wet now." He took off his top and grabbed me drying me off with the towel. "I love you so much, you make me smile when I think of you and you make me laugh with your funny messing around" "Funnily I agree with what you said 100%, you do the same thing with me" while Kian was dressing me. After I was fully dressed, I went to the bedroom to get a top for Kian to put on. We sat on the couch with our arms wrapped around each other talking away. Sometime later, I ordered take-away food. While we were eating, the doorbell buzzed. I went to answer it, it was Stacey and her current boyfriend Peter Lovenkrands standing there. I screeched "Stacey! Come on inside" "Thanks, hope we came at a good time. I brought himself with me" "No, we were just eating and welcome Peter" "Thank you Catherine" "Please call me Cat" as we walked into the sitting room area. "Kian, Stacey and Peter are here. So make room for them on the couch" poking my tongue out naughtily at him. Stacey laughed, "Tut tut, she's bossy isn't she?" We laughed. I sat between Kian's legs as he was sitting on the floor whilst we opened the cans of beer and bottles of Smirnoff ice Stacey and Peter brought with them. *mr.green* We talked and laughed all night, I even gave Kian a massage! *laughs* From speaking to Peter, I actually thought he was a very nice fella for Stacey! *mr.green* Anyway, it was getting very late so Stacey and Peter were heading home, we all said 'Goodnight' even though it was after midnight! *laughs* After they left, I went to bed and went to sleep with Kian coming after me cuddling up against me wrapping his arms around my waist.
Chapter 48
*** The Next Day ***
I woke up as Kian was waking me up. As soon I opened my eyes, I was greeted with a single red rose from Kian. "This is for my gorgeous girlfriend who's lying in bed half-asleep." I laughed, "Awww, that is so considerate of you and I'm wide awake now" pulling him close to me planting a smacker on his luscious lips! *laughs* "Now, I enjoyed that kiss from you babe" "Oh, did you?" rolling my eyes! Hehe! He started to tickle me under the duvet, I kept screeching at him to stop it. He stopped and cuddled me in his arms. "You are one wicked girl, Catherine" "You too, my sweetie." We got up and had our breakfast together. After that, we got dressed and I went to freshen myself in the bathroom as we were leaving for my hospital appointment at 11 o'clock.
We arrived at the hospital half an hour early to try avoiding waiting for hours to be called. *rolls eyes* An hour passed and I was called, Kian came inside we and watched the nurses take off the cast and then for a x-ray on the ankle to see if it had healed completely. To my delight, my ankle healed. The doctor told me to take it easy for a couple days to let the ankle adjust after being in a cast for six long weeks! I thanked the doctor and nurses for doing a good job. As we were leaving the hospital, a lot of people recognised Kian and they stopped him to get autographs off him. Some asked 'why was he here?' He explained why he was here to accompany his girlfriend to her appointment for my ankle. Finally, we left the hospital for home. In the car, I commented how white my lower leg looked as the rest of me was brown � tanned from our holiday in Sardinia. He took a glance and said "Oh yeah, I never noticed. You can go to a beauty salon and get fake tan applied to even it with your tan!" "That's what I had in mind" placing my hand on his leg. He took my hand and kissed it. "We always think the same things" "Quite true, babe."
We arrived home and I went to the bathroom to shave my legs and a shower at the same time. Kian came in and asked, "Do you want a hand?" cheekily. I laughed by reaching for his hand but first he had to undress himself before joining me. He certainly gave me a hand as promised before we got all hot and steamy! *blushes* *blushes*
A few hours later, Kian was going out to meet up with the lads for rehearsals for the upcoming tour starting in two days. Hours later, he texted me that he be home in an hour, so I prepared dinner and that it will be ready when he gets in. He came home true to his word. While we were eating, I mentioned that I was thinking of ringing Daniel to see if there's any chance of getting the job back as things have changed. Kian said, "Yea, you should. I know how much you loved working there. I'm sure he will take you back. Go ring and ask him" "Are you sure?" "Yes, I am. Ring him NOW" smiling. I dialed Daniel's number on my mobile. He answered and said "Long time no speaks, Catherine." To my horror, "How did you know it was me?" He laughed, "I still have your number on my fone and your name was on the screen" "Ah, I see. Silly me" "You not, how are you and the love life as well?" "I'm great, back on my two feet for the first time in 6 weeks and the love life is going brilliantly. Thanzs! How are you doing?" I'm good, busy as always. So, what were you ringing me?" We spent the next 20 minutes talking and he agreed to give me my job back at Innocent Records and I be back to work the following Monday. We ended the call, and I went to the sitting room to join Kian. He looked up at me away from the telly and asked "Well?" I smiled, "I'm back on Monday, woo" "That's great, told you he will take you back" giving me a congratulatory hug. "Thanks, Mr. Egan" "Wanna go out for a drink?" "Yea, sure" "There's no need to change, you fine as you are. It's only for a couple drinks" "Okies, you ready?" "Yep, ready when you are babes" "Come on so" as we walked out of the door. We went to a pub down the street from Kian's place. We walked inside hand in hand and asked for a pint and Smirnoff Ice. We spent an hour at the pub before heading home. I was getting sleepy when we got home. I said to Kian, "I'm going to bed, Nite darling. I think you should get some sleep before ye start the tour in 2 days! You need your energy and time for the fans." "Yea, you're right. Let's go to bed." We both went to bed and went to sleep together gazing into each other's eyes. "Night Catherine." I mumbled back sleepily "Night" and dozed off to sleep.
