The next day, I got up early and went for an early morning walk. After coming in from my morning walk, Katy and Lee were already up having their breakfast. Lee said "Morning"; I didn't say anything back but gave a little smile as I headed to my room. I was going back to Ireland in two days. Today I was going to book my flights today but first thing was to get presents for Stacey and Emma from work. As I was sorting my belongings to take with me to Kerry when there was a knock on my room door and well, it was Lee!! He made me laugh when he put on his silly puppy face, he knew that always work for me when I'm such in a miserable mood over anything. I apologised to Lee for shouting at him last night but he insisted that he should have told me or made Dunk to tell me the truth. He didn't realise that it would affect our friendship and trust. In the end, we made up.
A couple of hours later, I went into town to get presents for Stacey and Emma for being such good friends from the day I started work in Innocent Records. I managed to get my hands on something that Stacey would be so happy with and to have. Emma was quite hard to get a present for; in the end I got her a gorgeous handbag and jewellery! I texted the girls to meet up for a drink after they finish work tomorrow evening.
As I headed back to the flat with the shopping when a car stopped beside me "Catherine, get in the car" I turned around to see who it was, Unfortunately, it was Kian. "For what?" "I want to take you somewhere to talk, please" "Fine." I got in the car as he drove us to somewhere quiet. "So, what is it you want to talk about?" even though I know what it was about. "I want to talk about last night" "Oh no, that shouldn't have happened" "but it did because I wanted it to happen. I been longing to kiss you since Shane's wedding" "Please don't make it a lot harder than it already is for me. I'm going back to Kerry in a couple of days" "I have fallen for you and I know why you are so worried. It's Duncan, he will have to get used to it" "Slow down there, we are NOT even a couple. Can you imagine how hurt and angry Duncan would be if he seen us together" "Well, I want to go out with you and I don't care about Duncan" "I don't know that's it's a good idea but I do have feelings for you. I'm sorry. God, do you always have this effect to the ladies!" He laughed, "Well, it hasn't backfired on me yet. So what next?" "Well, this is what's going to happen." I kissed him. "Whoa, that was lovely. Do it again" as we kissed once again. Anyway, he dropped me off at the flat on the way home. After coming in, I made dinner for myself since Lee left a note saying he won't be home tonight as he's staying at Katy's for the night! I wrapped my presents for Stacey and Emma and also finish my packing my things. I was feeling a little happier today than I have been in ages and I suppose it was all down to Kian. I texted Kian telling him I was feeling lonesome in the flat and he texted back saying "Be there soon to keep you company." 15 minutes later, he kept to his promise. We talked for a while about things and then he said the band will have a couple of weeks break coming up soon. He wondered will I go on a holiday in the sun with him as he was going to book a holiday somewhere the following day. So, we decided to go to Sardinia for a week after browsing through the holiday brochures Kian fetched from his car. Kian asked, "Are you sure you want to come?" "Yeah, I'm sure. I could do with seeing sunshine and clear blue skies" "I'm looking forward to it already. I will book it tomorrow" "Yeah, that's fine by me." Kian leaned in towards me and kissed me and well, we got a bit carried away (You know what I mean)!
Chapter 39
*** The Next Day ***
I woke up early to find Kian snoring his head off besides me! I laughed, so I pelted him with my pillow to wake him up which certainly worked. He jumped out of the bed in a fright! I kept laughing at him, "Whoops, did I wake you?" "You certainly did, you cheeky mare!" "Me, cheeky! I'm certainly not" "Oh yes, you are babe" tickling me all over from head to toe! I screeched at Kian "Stop it" "I won't until you say sorry, hehe" grinning. "Okay, Sorry. Now stop tickling me" "Got ya" "Omg, you tricked me. I so got to get you back for that. Anyway, I'm off for a shower" "Ooh, can I join you?" "No, you can't" "Aww, why not?" "Because�� Oh, forget it" "Ah, I think I know. I understand, anyway I make a start on breakfast for ourselves" "Okay, I'm just having cereal and tea and you can have anything you want in the fridge." I went off to have my shower and got dressed after it! We ate our breakfast together which Kian had a fry! Then I realised today was my last day in London. I was sad to leave London I didn't want to be around Duncan if I decided to stay in London, I felt it would be the right thing, so that my problems won't be building up. "Cat, you okay?" "Hmm, Yea I'm fine. Just realised I'm going home tomorrow" "Awww, I will miss you" "I know you will"
We had a serious discussion about us, we had decided, well I did that we keep our relationship under wraps and not tell anyone for another while. I was really concerned that the news will sink Dunk down badly, he had enough things on his mind to cope with, let alone finding out about Kian and I getting together.
Anyway, Kian left an hour later because Lee was coming home at any time and I didn't want Lee to see Kian. So, I had to kick Kian out before he does. I thought. "Oh god today is going to be the longest day of my life." Half hour later, Lee came home with Katy hand in hand. "Hey, how are you two doing?" "We are grand, thanks. How about yourself?" "I'm good. So, what are you two up to today?" "Well, we going to take you out tonight before you go home tomorrow" "Is Dunk coming?" "I'm not sure." I sighed, "I come but I have to meet Stacey and Emma after they finish work" "Sure, they can join us tonight. Don't you think?" "Yeah, why not, that if the girls have no plans for tonight" "I go and ring them for you" as Katy went off to ring them on my mobile and let them know. She came back and said "They're coming out with us" "Yay, that's great" "What were you up to last night?" "Oh, nothing much. I finished the last of my packing, watched telly. Very boring, I know" *rolls eyes* "Anyone call by?" "Nopes, why do you ask?" "Just wondered" "Right" looking puzzled at her.
As the day went by, I was kept busy texting Kian and friends back home! Kian had me laughing sending sweet but funny messages! Then I realised I had to get dressed to go out with Lee and Katy. I was determined to have a great time. Even though, I probably still be nursing a hangover by the time I leave London tomorrow. Anyway, the three of us headed off to 'Chinawhites'. What I wasn't expecting when I walked inside was that the whole of Blue and Westlife with their wives and girlfriends were there. Of course, I knew Sarz, Stacey and Emma were gonna be there! Busted were there also since Emma is going out with Matt! It was going to be one hell of a great night! I spotted Kian talking to Byran and Mark, I gave a wink and he returned it with a grin. Then I looked around and saw Duncan looking miserable chatting to Ant and Sy. Ant shouted "Hey Cat, come over here." I laughed "Hey, how's it going?" "Great, thanks." I turned to Duncan "How are you?" "Me? Oh, I'm doing just fine. You look like you are coping well" "Oh please, don't start this again" "Why not?" "What's the point telling you why? I'm here to have fun" "Fine, go and have fun" "Damn right, I will." I stormed off over to the bar for a drink I desperately needed. Then Stacey came along and asked what happened? I rolled my eyes and said "Dunk as usual" when I spotted someone on the dancefloor and asked Stacey "Does that guy look familiar to you?" Stacey took a look "OMFG, its Peter!" "Lovenkrands?" "Yeah, it's definitely him; I got to pull him tonight. I'm off to stalk him" "Go girl, but first I want to give you a present" "Aww, you shouldn't have" as I got the envelope out of my bag. It was 2 tickets for Celtic & Rangers match. "Oh my god, this is absolutely brilliant of you" "HeHe, if you managed to pull Pete 2nite, he will certainly have your full support that day" "Thank you so much" "Not a problem. Thanks for being a great friend. Have you seen Emma?" "Yeah, she's over there with Matt" showing me where she was. Stacey went off up to Peter while I went to join Emma and Matt. I handed her my present and she loved it so much, I had got her a handbag and jewellery. I spoke to the two for a little while until Katy and Sarz came and dragged onto the dancefloor, so Westlife and Blue gang except for Dunk who wasn't on the dancefloor were having fun.
Then Christina Aguilera song 'Dirrty' came on, Kian came a little closer to me, I was having such fun dancing so close with him that I didn't notice Dunk was watching us while flirting with a girl. Dunk was trying to get me jealous flirting with her, but I didn't have a care in the world. Anyway, the song ended and I went back to our table for more drinks. Then, I got a text from Kian "Come out the back". I went out discreetly out to the back and found Kian on the steps. "What's up, Kian?" "Nothing, I just wanted to kiss you, I was very close to doing so inside when we were dancing" "Aww, bless ya" as we passionately kissed. I snuggled up against him "Catherine, I wish you weren't going back to Kerry" "Me either but I have to because you know why. It holds too many memories and it hurts like hell" "Shush, its okay, I understand. Anyway, I think we better get back inside."
While making our way inside, we saw Dunk standing against the wall on his own. I quickly let go of Kian but he had seen us, "Alright" slurring. "Yeah, just came out for fresh air and bumped into Kian. Anyway, I better get inside or they will send out a search party" laughing away. "Haha, they don't give a damn about you because you are a 2 faced bitch who likes hurting people". I gasped, slapped him on the face and ran down the alley with tears running down the face. I suddenly went flying onto the path hurting my ankle in the process. The pain was unbearable because it was the same ankle I sprained about 3 years ago! Kian had came running after me and found me crying in pain. "What happened?" "I fell and hurt my ankle" "Right, I get a taxi and bring you to A&E." Kian managed to get a taxi, so he helped me into the taxi. Duncan came along and shouted "I see lover boy is taking you home" attracting the attention of the photographers hounding outside the club. I shouted back "Oh, shut up you fucking bastard. He's not taking me home because I'm going to the hospital as I hurt my foot and it's all your fault" "Oh, I feel sorry for you, NOT" Dunk roared back. Kian was about to deck him but I stopped him from doing so, instead I told the driver to go.
On the way to the hospital, Kian carefully took the shoe off my injured foot. Eventually we got there but there was a queue, so we had to wait a while before being seen by a doctor and go for an x-ray. Unfortunately, I fractured my ankle; I had to have plaster on it for 6 weeks. Once that was done, Kian and I left the place after a couple hours there. We got a taxi back to Kian's apartment; he gave me a hand getting me into bed and putting a cushion under my foot. "Kian � thanks for being there for me, it means so much" "Hey, there's no need. I always be there whenever you need me" "thanks, looks like I have to stay in London for another few days, at least we are going on holiday in a couple of weeks! It will do a world of good to us to get away from the pressures of everything. Can I stop here for a few days?" "Of course you can, stay as long as you like. I don't mind at all, at least we get to spend some time together" "Yea, it will. So, will you pick my stuff from Lee's flat that is already packed? I don't want to see any of the lads, not after what happened tonight "Yea sure, I will. Now, you just go and get some sleep after the night we had" "Yeah, you too babe" as Kian got into the bed and snuggled up against me. He fell asleep straightaway but I stayed awake for most of the time.
