Chapter 64
"Hi my love!" Lee smiles brightly at me and kisses me passionately. It takes my breath away.
"I missed you," I say out of breath.
"Same here," he whispers and gives me a tight hug.
"You're so sweet that you waited for me here," I grin. He answers me by giving me a long deep kiss.
"I didn't want to wait longer to do that," he smiles cheekily.
"Lee! Everybody's looking at us! Let's go home quickly," I say a bit embarrassed.
"I don't care," he laughs loud at me being all shy.
When we're home Lee immediately grabs my waist and kisses me for a long time. While kissing we take off eachother's coats and sit down on the couch. I withdraw from his sweet kisses and we look deep into eachother's eyes.
"I love you," I say from the bottom of my heart.
"I love you too," he says tender and starts kissing me again.
"Hey, I was gonna say something else," I smile and put my finger on his lips.
"It'd better be something good you're gonna say. Because you're looking so gorgeous I can't stop kissing you for a long time," he grins naughty.
"Oi!" I call out and softly slap his cheek.
"I'm sorry," he laughs and takes my hands in his hands. "What did you want to say," he says really serious now.
"I wanna make love to you!" I say.
"But we already� Oh! You mean� You wanna go all the way?" he replies. I nod.
"Are you sure? I mean� I don't wanna rush it," he says kind of shy.
"Really? I haven't seen that of you before," I tease him.
"Erm� that was in the past. But you're my first real love. And I want our first time to be special," he blushes.
"Awww you're so cute. Yes I'm sure. I couldn't think of anything else the whole week," I say naughty.
"Hmmm� I'm cute and you're horny� It used to be the other way around," Lee grins.
I stand up from his lap and beckon him to follow me. He grabs my waist and starts kissing me passionately. While kissing we go upstairs to the bedroom�
3 weeks later� Friday morning
OMG I feel so terrible! I've been throwing up, I feel really sick. I think I'm having the flu. Yesterday morning I didn't feel too good either, but after a couple of hours I felt okay. Still I have a weird feeling� there's something. I forgot something important� or� I really don't know, but a little voice in my head keeps saying I've missed something�
I already talked to my mates in university, but there's nothing I forgot. I talked to my mum yesterday, but she didn't mention anything either. Something in London maybe? Lee's at work, I can't call him. I can call Tia, she'll probably know it too when it's something important. I'm feeling a bit better now, so I'll call her immediately.
"Hello?"
"Hi, it's Iris."
"Hi! How are you?"
"Not too good, I think I have the flu. I was feeling terrible this morning."
"Awww poor you!"
"I'll be fine. How are you?"
"Terrible belly ache. I'm having my period."
"Aww poor you too!" I say.
"But hey� I thought we usually have it at the same time?" she asks.
She's right. What? She's right!!! OMG! I quickly flip through my agenda. I don't remember when I should have my period. I can't remember either when I had my last period. OMG! Did I miss it?
"Iris? Are you still there?" Tia asks.
"Huh? Yeah, yeah I'm here," I say distracted.
"What's wrong? Oh no! You didn't have your period yet?"
"Erm� no."
"When was the last time?"
"I can't remember," I say panicking slightly.
"Okay, calm down. Do you really think you could be pregnant?"
"Erm.. yeah it could be. I mean, I've always had safe sex, but that's never 100% safe."
"No, that's true," Tia sighs.
"And� OMG! Morning sickness! I don't have the flu, it's morning sickness!" I call out panicking.
"You don't know that for sure! Calm down, and get a pregnancy test before saying that!"
I calm down a little. "You're right. I'm gonna get one now. I'll call you back later," I say.
"Go to a store where they don't know you. You know how fast gossip travels!"
"Yeah, that's a good point."
"Good luck!"
"Thanks," I sigh.
I quickly jump on my bike to go to a chemist's in another part of the city.
"Can I help you?" the girl behind the counter asks.
"Can I have a pregnancy test please?"
"Which one? We have�"
"The blue one please," I quickly say. How ironic! If I'm pregnant, it's a Blue baby!
"Hey, aren't you the girlfriend of that guy from Blue?" the girl asks.
"No I ain't," I shake my head. Nosey git! This is the first time I lie about it, but as Tia just said, gossip travels fast! She gives me a doubtful look. I pay her and put the test in my bag.
"Let's hope the result's positive," she laughs. "Good luck!"
I shoot her an ugly look and say sarcastically: "Thanks!"
At home I read the instructions and do the test. Than I call Tia again.
"Hi."
"Hi, me again. I just did the test, now I have to wait for the result," I say nervous. While waiting I tell her about the annoying girl at the store.
"How dare she make jokes about something important like this!" Tia calls out.
"Yeah, that's what I was thinking too."
"I hope she believed you when you said you're not Lee's girlfriend," she says a bit worried.
"I hope so too. But I hope more that I'm not pregnant," I sigh.
"Iris, time's up. You have to look at the test."
"I don't want to."
"You have to. Come on," she insists.
I give a deep sigh and go away from the window. No! No, no, no!
"I'm pregnant," I say to Tia with a hoarse voice.
I feel all sick suddenly. "I'm gonna call my doctor and make an appointment for this afternoon. She has to help me out�"
