"Beatrice!" Nicky and I shout at the same time when we see her walking towards us. We run at her and give her a big hug and a lot of kisses. We get the same excited scene as when Nicky and I met, only worse, because now it's three of us screaming and yelling.
"Iris and Nicky!"
"So good to see you honey!"
"Good to see you too!"
"So good to finally meet you!"
"I can't believe it!"
"Me neither!"
"Group hug," I say and the three of us give eachother a big hug. Everybody is looking at us. Lee's grinning very bad, Dunk actually looks kind of embarrassed.
Lee notices it and grins. "Yup, that's your girl mate."
"Are you sure?" Dunk answers.
"Oh, I'm sure about that," I grin. "Beatrice, this is Maryan, and you already know the guys," I say to Beatrice. She hugs and kisses Maryan enthusiastically.
"Great to see you again," she says very warm and friendly to Dunk and they hug and give a kiss on the cheek.
"It's good to see you too," Dunk smiles back at her.
"Hi Lee," she says shyly to Lee.
"Hi," he smiles at her. He also seems a little shy.
I can understand that, it must be weird to meet someone you've had a one-night-stand with. Of course they also hug and give a kiss on the cheek, it would be weird if they wouldn't.
"So what are we gonna do now?" Maryan asks.
"I don't know," Lee shrugs.
"Dunk's planned everything," I say.
"You also don't know what we're gonna do now?" Nicky asks surprised.
"You're keeping secrets for her?" Beatrice asks Dunk smiling.
"No, only surprises," Dunk shakes his head.
"I think I can trust him," I grin.
"You think? You're not sure?" Dunk asks as if he's offended. "That's nice."
I grin at him and give him a kiss on his nose. That makes him smile.
"So?" I ask him.
"Luggage," he says as if I'm stupid.
"And than?" I ask.
"Take the luggage to the hotel," Beatrice says.
"Pfff, I'm glad there's still someone who can think," Dunk sighs.
"She doesn't only have my looks, she also has my brains," I grin.
"Yeah, she did take your brains. So now you're stupid," Lee grins at me.
"Than who's got your brains?" I ask him.
"Ooohhh. I'm not stupid," he calls out.
"Oh yeah, that's right. You're not stupid, you're just in lo�" I say and stop abruptly when Lee kicks me hard.
"Ouch! Jee, when I get a black spot, this time it's not from this mister," I point at Dunk, "but from this mister," I point at Lee.
"He gives you black spots?" Nicky and Beatrice both ask me.
"Oh yeah, Dunk's a beast at night," Lee grins.
"What do you now about it?" I call out.
"I've heard some weird noises," Lee grins.
"Oh!" I call out.
"You can't mate. We've been only at my house, and I kicked you out every time," Dunk says calm.
"But Iris believed me," Lee laughs out loud. "Speaking of beds�" Lee says.
"Who was talking of beds?" I grin.
"Speaking of beds, what kind of hotel rooms did you book?" Lee ignores me.
"Oh, right. The only thing that I could get was two rooms with a double bed, and one room with two single beds," Dunk says.
"Oh. Well, than the room with two single beds is for Iris and Dunk, so we won't hear weird noises from their room. And than� ehm�" Lee hesitates.
"You and Maryan share a room," I warn him. "No, we'll decide tonight who shares what room with who," I shake my head.
We take the luggage and bring it to the hotel.
"I've got a little surprise for you ladies," Dunk smiles when we're outside the hotel again.
"Ooh, look at that twinkle in his eyes. I don't think it's a little surprise," I call out. "I think it's a big surprise!"
"I got to make a phone call. Check if we can come now, because we're a little early," he grins.
"What's the surprise?" I ask him curious. He just grins at me.
"Who are you gonna call?" I ask. He grins a bit harder.
"Are we gonna meet someone?" I ask.
"I'm not telling anything," he grins.
I wrap my arms around his neck and give him my puppy-look. "Tell me what the surprise is. Pleeeaaase." I give him sweet kisses on his mouth.
"Stop doing that to me. You know I can't say no when you do that!" he calls out. I have to laugh.
"She almost got you mate," Lee laughs out loud.
"Almost," Dunk sighs.
"The strength of a woman," Beatrice and Nicky both sing together.
"Too bad it didn't work. It was worth trying," I grin at the girls. "Go on, make that phonecall quickly," I rush Dunk.
"Okay, okay," he raises his hands. We can't hear who he's talking to on the phone, just that he's making some kind of appointment.
"Let's go," he grins at us.
We're all very excited. Meeting Nicky for the first time, going to a Di-rect concert this evening, and now there's also a surprise for us! We're talking very loud, so the others don't notice that Lee's not saying much. Nicky's still flirting with him the whole time, and she and I make him blush sometimes. It's really funny.
"What's up with Lee?" Maryan whispers at me. "Is he in love with one of them two? He's behaving weird!"
I start grinning very badly.
"I take that as a yes. Please tell me who it is! Nicky or Beatrice?" she begs me.
"I'm not telling you. I promised Lee not to tell anybody," I shake my head. Dunk's the only one who heard Maryan and me whispering.
"So he �s in love? That's what I already thought. I know who he's in love with then," he whispers in my ear.
"What are you whispering about? Do you know what the surprise is?" Nicky calls out.
"No," I shake my head. "Hey Lee, do you know what it is?" I ask Lee. Dunk and Lee both start laughing.
"Yes," Lee nods.
"Really?" Nicky and Beatrice call out. They're walking on either side of him.
"Go girls! You know how to get the secret out of him," I shout at them. Lee walks on, laughing hard. Nicky and Beatrice look back at me.
"Give him the puppy-look," I mouth at them.
"I don't dare that," Nicky mouths back at me.
"Than you," I point at Beatrice. She shakes her head very hard.
"Come on girls," I call at them. They both shake their heads again. Dunk and Lee are laughing very loud. Dunk sees what's going on. Lee is in front of us, but he kn�ws what's going on.
"Lee!" I shout at him. He stops and turns around at us. "Will you tell us what the surprise is?"
"No."
I wrap my arms around his neck and give him the puppy-look. "Will you pleeeaaase tell me?" I ask him very sweet.
He wraps his arms around my waist. "My dear Iris. I'll tell you something," he says. "You can't use the same trick on two different guys the same day."
"But the first time it didn't work," I say innocent. "I'll have a very pleasant surprise for you if you tell me what the surprise is," I look at him with big eyes.
"Hehe, I think that someone won't agree if you give me a pleasant surprise," Lee laughs.
"Hey! You're my girl, remember," Dunk laughs and pulls me towards him. "You didn't promise me a pleasant surprise if I would tell the surprise to you," Dunk says indignantly.
"Hehe. You'll get a pleasant surprise tonight anyway, because you arranged the surprise of this evening," I tell him with a naughty smile.
"Wooow, you're a busy man this night. As long as you keep the noise down," Lee warns us.
"So where are we going?" I ask Dunk.
"I'm not telling you."
"No, serious. Where are we goin? I mean, do you now where we have to go?" I ask him, looking around. We're somewhere in the center of the city.
"Oh, fuck. I got the directions on the phone, but I forgot to watch where we are going now," Dunk realises.
"Give me the address, I'll ask someone for the directions." Dunk gets something out of his pocket and looks at it. "Come on, I'm the only one who speaks Dutch, give me the address," I say.
"I've written it down, I can't pronounce it," he says and gives me the paper he got out of his pocket. I ask someone for the directions and we arrive a couple of minutes later. It's a fancy restaurant.
