I look up at them, expectantly. Slowly Lee starts to clap his hands. The other guys also start clapping.
"Brilliant. I didn't know you had it in you," Lee smiles.
"Let me read it again," Dunk says. I give the paper to him.
"You didn't know I'm a writer, did you?" I ask Lee.
"You're a writer?" Ant and Lee say surprised at the same time.
I nod: "Yeah. I've never written anything like this before. I'm a story writer." Dunk gives the paper to Simon.
"You've got a very bad handwriting for a writer," Simon grins.
"That's because I write very fast. I hope you can read it," I answer. They all read my poem again.
"I think it's pretty good for a first try," Simon says. The others nod yes. I sit down next to Dunk. He puts his arm around my shoulders and gives me a kiss.
"I'm very proud of you," he whispers in my ear. I get a BIG smile on my face.
They go on singing and experimenting. I'm really enjoying it.
At the end of the afternoon we go back home. We're all going to change clothes and stuff like that, before we're going out for dinner. I go home with Dunk.
He falls down on the couch: "I don't want to do anything!"
"You're lazy," I laugh.
"Yeah, I always get lazy from doing nothing all day. It's really stupid," he grins.
"Hmm. I think I like the hyperactive Duncan better," I frown. "Come on, let's go and take a shower," I say and pull his hand.
"Together?" he says surprised.
"Yeah, why not. Or do you think you can't control yourself?" I grin.
"I'll try," he says with a naughty smile. He lifts me up and carries me to the bathroom.
"I think I've discovered the magic word," I giggle.
"Yeah, you've got my attention now," Dunk grins. I put my arms around his neck and give him a long deep kiss. We slowly undress eachother, we can hardly stop kissing. When we're totally naked we go into the shower. We put soap all over eachother's body.
After a long hot shower we go to the bedroom to dress. The phone rings and Dunk picks up. I hear that it's Lee.
"Is he missing us already?" I call. Dunk grins and gives me the phone.
"I heard that!" Lee calls.
"Haha. And? Are you missing us already?" I laugh.
"No. I just wanted to know what you're doing all that time. We're already in the restaurant for hours," he jokes.
"Yeah right."
"No, serious. I called to ask when you're coming, because we're all waiting for you," he says. I look at the clock.
"Oh. I didn't know it was that late already!" I call out.
"Time flies when you're having sex," Lee laughs.
"Ooh. We weren't!" I call out. I see that Dunk's already dressed and now he starts dressing me.
"So when are you coming? Even Ant's here already, and he had to pick up Emilie first," Lee asks.
"He brought Emilie? I didn't know that," I say surprised.
"You didn't? Why else did you think we were going to have dinner this early? Ant's babysitting Emilie the rest of the weekend, and he has to feed her on time."
"Cool," I say enthusiastically.
"What are you doing? You're making a lot of noise," Lee asks.
"I'm getting dressed," I answer.
"You always make such noise when you're getting dressed?" he laughs.
"Well, actually, I'm getting dressed by Dunk," I grin.
"Oh, I don't want to hear that. Just get here as soon as possible," Lee says and hangs up.
"We'd better hurry up," Dunk says to me. I nod.
We arrive at the restaurant.
"Hi," Ant greets us very happy. "Can you please knock down Lee for me? I can't feed Emilie when Lee's so hyperactive," Ant frowns at Lee.
"Where's Simon?" I ask.
"Outside. He's on the phone. He couldn't even make a call with Lee next to him," Ant answers. Lee's indeed being a bit annoying.
"Can I feed her? Than you can knock Lee down yourself," I ask Ant.
"Sure," he says and gives Emilie to me.
Ant hits Lee on the arm. Lee tries to hit back, but he hits Duncan instead. Simon returns and starts hitting Lee too.
"Jee, I can't even make a phone call with you around," he says. They all start fighting.
"Go outside if you need to fight," I warn them.
"Hehe, we're always a bit energetic if we've relaxed all day long. But usually Dunk is very lazy than. I guess something woke him up," Simon grins.
"Yeah, a shower," Dunk grins.
"Must have been a very hot shower," Lee smiles naughty.
"V�ry hot," I grin. Dunk grins broadly and gives me a kiss. I'm finished feeding Emilie and let her burp.
"Look how sweet. Watch it Iris, or Dunk will get jealous," Ant says to me.
"Yeah, jealous of Emilie, because you're giving her more attention," Simon says when he sees my surprised face.
"Hehe. Too bad for you. It seems like Iris is ready to have children," Lee grins and slaps Dunk on his shoulder.
"Huh? It's the other way around. He'd rather be jealous of Ant. Dunk's the one who's ready for children, but I'm not," I say very surprised. "I love to babysit, but I have to study for another year, to get my master degree."
They look surprised at Duncan. "I changed my mind about having children," he confesses to them. "Wait until you find the right girl," he says to Lee, who started to laugh out loud.
They start to fight again.
"You're a couple of little kids," I sigh. "Think someone's diaper needs to be changed," I say when I smell Emilie.
"Did you shit your pants again?" Lee jokes at me. I put my middle finger up at him.
"Give her to me," Ant says.
"It's okay, I'll do it," I say and stand up. Dunk gives me the diaper bag. I take Emilie to the ladies room.
When I've finished I go back to the others. Dinner's already served and we start eating. The rest of the evening we go on chatting and joking.
