Story of Love
How can I describe love? It is simple:
Tis not unlike the writings of a book;
The way the author orders the chapters
And chooses the correct words and phrases
To keep the reader stirred from start to end.
The beginning? Always introduction:
The complete knowledge of a character
So theri emotion is not blind to us.
As is love: greetings first with kind discourse.
Then the book writes on, so what then comes next?
A problem then arises does it not?
Whether dragon or tempest or cuckhold.
Whether tis to slay or bear the weather,
Or serve the cheating heart with punishment.
Then a choice: One way may make a hero
The otherleads to sorrow and sadness.
Slay or be slayed, battle the storm or hide,
Stay with the lover or find love anew.
Not tale nor courtship, retreat in one choice,
But all may end in one resolution.
Dragon is slayed, the knight is a hero;
The storm passes and the sun lights the day;
Love stands the test and life partners are made.
Out of this resolution, comes ending:
One with joyousness, or one with hatred;
One with company, or one with silence.
Oft the story ends not how one may think.
The writer, not you, decide the finish.
As in fate, two hearts are brought together
Knowing not how their love journey may end.
One peice of advise I give the reader:
Enjoy the story, mind not how it ends.
