| The final commercial-release single from the Comfort In Sound album. Find The Colour is in my opinion the best track off the whole album, and is a brilliant feel-good track about love and happiness. This was released because the first 3 singles from the album were rather dark and emotional, and so Grant decided to release something more upbeat to end the campaign. Remember The Silence is a neat song, and has nice guitar and bass effects including neat crashing drums into the mix. Its a sort of laid-back Feeder track, with a driving edge to it. Circles is one of those tracks that are more about the lyrics than the tune, but everything is so great about it. I love the line Thinking back to 86, summer days out in the sticks, its a nice little flashback point in the song, and sort of reminds me of the sort of things the Beatles would sing about. Its once again mellowed Feeder, but no so dark like most mellow tracks from this campaign. A neat single set, but would have been better with a second CD in the release, but we do get to see the first Feeder 7 since Just A Day which is nice :-) When this was put out, 350.000 people had the "Comfort In Sound" album already, meaning this made #24 on the top 40 chart. However, the week later it dropped to #56 (quite a fall :-( ) giving Feeder their 56th top 75 week in their history, beating Pink Floyd's total of 55!!!!!. |

| Some people are saying about Feeder's new sound not being as good as it was, but a wide majority of us absolutely love virtually everything, or like me everything Feeder have ever released!!!. Reaching No5 on the chart, and helping the amazing "Pushing The Senses" album perform way above the expectations of the music critics charting at an amazing No2 (would have loved to see number 1, but it's still an amazing achievement), "Tumble and Fall" is one of those mellow guitar tracks that blow you away and fill you up with emotional feelings and melody all the way through and still feels inside of you after you've listened to it!!!. At first the "yeah, yeah, yeah"'s I wasn't too fond of, but soon grew on me and really leaves it's mark on the song. You must hear this live also, an amazing experience and an amazing single. Check out the b-side "Victoria", and also the mindblowing b-side "Shatter" on CD1, not forgetting the acoustic version of the title track and also the video on the same CD!!!. "Shatter" could be "Spill" MK2, with it's loud frenzy-filled guitars, punchy drums and loud vocals. I also love the ticking sounds between each verse before it starts to yell at you again!!!!. |
