Out of all the new bands coming on to the scene, which ones do you like most?

I really don�t like music that�s coming from all these new Coldplay's like Keane, I�m not saying they are bad song writers � just from a personal point of view � it bores me after a while.
I�m a bit out of touch at the moment. I like Lostprophets � they�re good, and I like Snow Patrol. I can�t really answer the question as I don�t really know what�s out

What do you think of the Darkness?

I�m over the Darkness. They have been and gone, I don�t think they can survive doing the same thing � they need to evolve in some way. They don�t have the time to move on like Queen � personally I�m just bored of it already. It�s entertaining and its obviously good to think that the reason why they might survive or not is on how good their album is going to be � if it�s a sh*t album they won�t survive, if it�s a good album they will get away with it.

What did you think of their album "Permission to Land"?

I like the singles that came out so I went and bought the record, but those are the ones I tend to listen to � I kind of skip over the rest.

What are the aims of success for the new album?
Mark
It doesn�t matter how much of a leap up the ladder it is, as long as it is a move up and not a step back. I don�t think this record is a step back, I think it is a natural progression in terms of where Feeder are heading. I think it will do well, I think it will do better than �Comfort In Sound�.

When you won the Best British Act at the Kerrang Awards � how did that feel?
Mark
I was in the toilet!!!!I waited all night! I waited as long as I could, as long as I could, as long as I could and I thought �Oh f**k I�m gonna have to go to the toilet!!�. I went to the toilet, came back and Grant was on stage! I walked back and Matt, my manger, was like �Get on stage!!�. I was like �No, just let me sit down� and he was like �NO! Get on stage!�. So I kind of like walked up on stage the wrong way and like tripped over Jodie Marsh�s boob!. It was horrible! But obviously fantastic for the band!

What�s the first single and album you bought?

The first single I bought was �Run to the Hills� by Iron Maiden and the first album I bought was by Genesis which had Phil Collins on lead vocals.
