FEEDER CV
Many years ago during the late 90's and early 00's of Feederweb, there was a Feeder CV which basically listed Feeder's achievements as they came along, in biography form.

It was a damn good enjoyable read!, and here I will create my own CV listing Feeder's achievements so far.

- 23 UK top 75 hits, and 76 chart weeks on the singles chart, and 90 on the albums listing. This puts Feeder firmly in the top 500 artists of all time in the UK charts.

- 6 UK top 75 albums with the last 4 so far all going top 10, "Pushing The Senses" is the highest at #2.

- "Pushing The Senses", is the first Feeder album to chart in European territory, and made #11 on the European album chart. It's also the first Feeder album to see its final single make the top 11 and top 10 in Scotland also. It's lead single "Tumble and Fall" is the bands biggest hit since "Buck Rogers" "The Singles" is the first albums in The Echo Label's history to spend 3 weeks in the top 3 positions of the UK albums chart..

- The band have so far sold at least 4 million records worldwide. The highest is "Comfort In Sound" on 600.000 with 436.000 from the UK. This century they have shipped over a million to stores including POPY's sales.

- "Buck Rogers" made #1 on the South African chart compiled by radio audience on their biggest station 5FM, they also headlined a South African festival.

- In the USA "High" made #24 on the modern rock chart and spent 14 weeks without interruption on the chart, it was also the most requested track on US college radio in the summer of 1998.

- They have supported bands like U2 and REM on their tours, and have sold out headline gigs in Europe, with a sellout tour in 2001, and in 2005 sold out a gig in Brussels, and two in Spain but had to be cancelled for reasons beyond the bands control.

- Full length "Polythene" was the #1 album in Metal Hammers 1997 albums list, and "Comfort In Sound" featured in many critics end of year lists.

- The band have won Kerrang! awards in 2001 and 2003 for "Best British Live Act" and "Best British Band", and have also won an IMA award for "Best Online Video" with JTWIF, and were also nominated in 2001 at the Q awards for "Best Single" with "Buck Rogers", 2003 for "Best Album" which was CIS and "Best British Rock" at the 2004 Brit Awards.

- They achieved Arena Status in late 2003 and played an Arena Tour in the same year before Christmas.

- "Pushing The Senses" was Q Magazines 39th best album of 2005, with "Feeling a Moment" their 98th best song in their top 100 list of the same year. The album also won "Best Album" at Wales's only televised music award ceremony- The Pop Factory Awards.

- Earlier this year in 2006, I met the guys and seen them perform at Oxford Street HMV. At the time HMV's website had this to say-

FEEDER will play a full electric set at HMV, Oxford Street, London at 6pm on Wednesday 3rd May. This is the first full electric live instore the band have played since the legendary Tower Records, Piccadilly Instore of January 2001 to accompany the release of Buck Rogers. Crowd surfing from the racks and a classic performance. This was followed by a semi acoustic instore at HMV in 2003 in support of Just the Way I'm Feeling. This was the biggest instore in HMV's history, with over 1500 people at the store. Such is the anticipated demand to meet the band that the signing session only will be restricted to fans with wristbands. These will be issued on a 'first come first served' basis - one wristband per person from the store opening on the day of the event. The store opens at 9am on Wednesday 3rd May and the band will take to the stage at 6pm prompt for a high octane 30 minute set. The live event itself will obviously be open fully to all.
