| Well, what can I say - they were fantastic. They would have had to have been to have two sell-out gigs in the same venue in less than three weeks. I did go to both, but I did recognise a few faces from the first gig that also turned up for the second one - loyalty or what?! They were excellent both times, Grant's voice was perfect - not a note out of tune, not a word stuttered or forgot. Couldn't possibly fault him. Grant, Taka and Dean all played guitar wonderfully - not a single bum-note to be heard. Taka maintained his enthusiasm throughout the entire night(s), jumping around like nobody's business, really a delight to behold. The timing was perfect, with all the boys looking to Mark (on drums) for their cue. The fans certainly loved it - everyone "doo doo doo doo"ing long before the band even appeared on stage. The band finished up, the fans stayed with shouts of "Feeder Feeder" combined with the "doo doo doo doo"ing, the band returned for an encore and finished off with Just A Day. An excellent finish to an excellent night! - maggie |

| Just send your reviews to the above address, along with your name and when and where the gig took place, and as long as the review is an honest evaluation of the band then I'll put it up!! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Grant at T in the Park's signing tent, 2003 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| T IN THE PARK, BALADO - 13 JULY 2003 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Another sell-out, this time to 55,000 music fans. Feeder came onto stage around 6pm, but the crowd of Feeder fans had already started to appear at the front of the crowd while Supergrass were still on stage. Supergrass left the stage and the crowd only got bigger (maybe around 30,000) and there was such a crush, even during the half-hour long sound-checks. But again, it was worth it. It would be impossible to find a fault with the music and vocals no matter how hard you looked! Surprisingly, they didn't finish off with Just A Day, instead they chose to put that in the middle of their set. At the end of their set, the fans seemingly refused to leave, and still stayed for another 10 minutes or more chanting "Feeder Feeder", but to no avail. There was no encore, as the stage had to be prepared for the next band. However, they did turn up at the signing tent and even stayed for an hour longer than scheduled, just 'cos they're really nice guys. Sadly, they didn't get through half the fans that were there, but I did get some delightful little pics (look right!) - maggie | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
