I first got internet in late 1999, and as would be expected of someone whose best game was Crystal Caves, I went around looking for various freeware and abandonware games. This happened for a year or so, and in the process, I came across the Championship Manager and RTK games, which quickly became my favourites. My search for more information on them led me to internet games and forums, where I now sit on whenever I'm online, hitting refresh every minute. Below are some of the sites that have kept me from doing any work.

The best football (or soccer, if you prefer) management game on the internet. I spent my first year on the internet downloading games, and my second year being completely addicted to Sundayleague. I haven't been quite as addicted following the demise of my super teams when I went on holiday, but it's still a great way to waste time.
Sanguo Online
I still searched for games to download after joining Sundayleague, and came across the RTK games, which subsequently led me to Sanguo Online. It doesn't have much activity any more, although there's a fair bit of useful information stored away there.
SimRTK
Shortly after I joined SOC, an RTK simulation began, based on Koei's RTK 6. Almost 3 years on, SimRTK now has a site of its own and over 300 active players. This is pretty much what I spend my entire internet time on now.
Heroes of Chaos
Due to the popularity of SimRTK, quite a few players have gone off and attempted to make their own RTK simulation, generally failing due to pathetic rules, incapable staff, a virtually non-existant player base, or more often than not, all of the above. Heroes of Chaos has been the only one that has suceeded, due to the gameplay being sufficiently different for players be able to play and enjoy it alongside SimRTK.
Kongming's Archives
Pretty much the ultimate source of information for everything even remotely related to RTK. And Pokemon too, occasionally.
Alex's Website
A collection of stuff by my friend Alex.
