Status reports stardate 20304.04
Reports by Commodore Fleming. Status reports describe diplomatic status with the federation, economic status and military power. Information was collected by Intelligence operatives. Some information may be incorrect or incomplete.
| Borg: | The Federation battleship USS Retarin engaged 2
borg spheres in the year 2397. The Spheres were confirmed destroyed.
After a long search the Retarin was presumed lost with all hands. 3 Years
later the Retarin arrived at Starbase 319. The Borg have not been heard from
since then. At last known status the Borg had a military strength surpassing
any known as well as technological prowess exceeding any race that the
Federation has regular contact with.

| Klingons: | The Klingons are currently engaged in a strong
alliance with the Federation. the two powers have been firm allies for 10
years now. The Klingons and Federation have merged on diplomatic, military,
economic
and social levels to the extent that several million members of Federation
races live on the Klingon homeworld and around the same amount of Klingons
are found on Earth. The Klingons economy is currently quite weak but is
being helped along the way by the Federation (and the Ferengi). The Klingon military is one
not to be reckoned with, it's starships number almost half again as big as Starfleet
ships.

| Cardassians: | The Cardassian economy is currently booming as
is their military power. The Federation is currently at War with the
Cardassian Union. The Cardassians have strong defenses along their borders,
little more is known about their military strength.

| Dominion: | The Dominion seems to have retreated from known
space. Federation ships continue to use the Bajoran Wormhole to enter the
Gamma quadrant in the middle of former Dominion space without any problems.
Nothing is known about the mysterious disappearance of the Dominion or its
Military and Economic strength. The official Diplomatic stance between the
Dominion and Federation-Klingon alliance is a loose cease fire.

| Ferengi: | The Ferengi are a Federaton-Klingon
protectorate. The Ferengi hold no military power whatsoever, their defences
are made up entirely of Starfleet and Klingon Personnel and Ships. The Ferengi operate a free market in Federation and Klingon territories. The Ferengi
economy, recently brought back from the verge of collapse, is the strongest
known. The use of currency is far more wide-spread in the Federation due to
the Ferengi although no currency is used through official channels and
people do not get paid a 'wage' as such.

| Gorn: | The Gorn and the Federation-Klingon alliance is
currently at war although there has been no military activity since the end
of the Alpha/Beta quadrant war. The Gorn surrendered most of their territory
to the Klingons 26 years ago and now their space is made up of little more
than a handful of systems. Their known military strength is considerably
weak and their economic strength is unknown.

| Mirak: | The Mirak have fortified their borders and have
aloud no non-Mirak ships to enter, regardless of whether they are private,
business or diplomatic ships. The Federation has been unable to get any
operatives into Mirak space. Their diplomatic status with the Federation-Klingon
alliance is a peace treaty currently upheld to the letter by both sides.

| Breen: | After the Alpha/Beta quadrant war the Breen
emerged relatively unharmed. Even so they returned to their traditional
isolationist ways. Several years ago un-heralded activity was seen on the
borders of Breen space. This resulted in a few border skirmishes with the
Federation-Klingon alliance. We now believe this to have been an assessment of
Federation-Klingon strength. Activity is once again building up along the
border, we beileve the Breen may ally themselves with the Cardassians once
again. Due
to the very nature of the Breen we have been unable to get an operative
inside their society.

| Romulans: | Romulan-Federation relations have never been
good, always on the brink of war. The Romulans and the Federation-Klingon
alliance currently have a long standing peace treaty. Fears are growing that
the Romulans may attack the Federation-Klingon alliance as they are
currently allied
with the Cardassians. The Romulans seem to be ready for a war of titanic
proportions. They have the Largest military only second to that of the
Federation-Klingon alliance and their Economy is blooming like it never has
before.
