Multi Vector Assault: The Multi Vector Assault mode is used on Prometheus Class vessels. The MVA is an improvement on the hull/saucer seperation present in the Galaxy class. The MVA mode is designed for more effective attacks. Since the prototype Prometheus vessel the performance of the MVA mode has improved greatly. All parts of the ship have better manoeuvrability when independent and when the sub space link is broke all parts of the ship have a 97% change of reintegration by calculating where each part was and using sensors if possible. Another added bonus with this technology is that different parts of the ship can go off in different directions. All Prometheus Class vessels have now been fitted with a small bridge in 2 of the area's while the 3rd is controlled from the main bridge so it can act as three easier.
Phaser Bank: Phaser banks are used by most Star Fleet ships and shuttles along with many other known races. Phaser banks are used for defensive and offensive attacks. They are similar to the way hand held phasers work but on a larger scale. Each bank on a starship has a certain amount of energy and phaser banks can be recharged. There are very few Star Fleet ships that don't have phaser banks at this stage in the time line.A single bank is capable of firing 2 phaser beams simultaneously.
Phaser: Phasers are hand held device use by Star Fleet officers and other races. Phasers are used as defensive weapons and have many different settings. The settings range from mild stun to vaporisation of the subject.
Photon Torpedoe: Tactical weapon used by Federation starships. Photon torpedoes are self-propelled missiles containing a small quantity of matter and antimatter bound together in a magnetic bottle, launched at warp speed at a target.
Shields: Shields are used to protect a object from various types of attack. Attacks such as directed energy weapons, projectiles and transporters. Transporter can be only used (when the sheilds are active) if they are used at the same frequency as the shields, the same goes for other weapons. Sheilds use a lot of energy very quickly and are ony in use during the Yellow and Red alert status'.
Transporters: A matter-energy transport device, which is used to transport object and people from one location to another. By standard methods transporters can only transport within a certain distance. Transporters are common place on all starships and many inhabited planets with the technological capabilities at hand. Transporters can not be use to transport through deflector shields or also other solid or liquid substances, depending on the thickness mostly. To beam to some locations like some storms or other locations transport enhances can be uses to boost the pattern strength.
Quantum Torpedoe: The quantum torpedo is an upgrade to the photon torpedo. The photon torpedo uses a matter and antimatter reaction as its warhead. The quantum torpedo uses a quantum filament for it's war head. Quantum filaments are a natural form of energy in space and have no mass at all. Once triggered it will release a enormous amount of energy. Each quantum torpedo is equipped with 100 artificial quantum filaments and are already in the torpedo when it is assembled so it can be fired straight away.
Warp Drive: Main propulsion system for interstellar spacecraft, used to achieve faster than light speeds. Warp drive involves a controlled reaction of matter and antimatter, regulated by dilithium crystals. The warp drive uses a warp feild to push itself into sub-space. The deeper it goes into subspace the faster it may travel in normal space, thus overcoming the restrictions imposed by relativity.
