Brief History
F.G.G.C Calabar is an all girls' institution founded in 1973 by the Federal Government of Nigeria. Located in sleepy but beautiful Calabar town of Cross River State Nigeria, the main objective of the school is to educate, empower and inspire young women.
Fegocal has facilities for
recreation and solid education... as well sorority hostels which house students from different ethnicities, culture and class denominations . These hostels are named after note-worthy women in
Nigerian history: example Moremi -Queen of Ile Ife who protected the
Yorubas during time of war. Others include » Bassey Enene » Mary Slessor » Moremi » Remmington »Queen Amina dorms respectively.
