Rachael, 32, and Michael, 34, live in Manlius, New York. Mike has a daughter named Taylor. We also have a cat named Sienna.
Mike is in the physical therapy field, and I am in the Internet
service provider field. We both have been in our jobs for several years. As a family, we enjoy camping, hiking, gardening, and spending time together. Mike also enjoys boating, making projects, doing things around the house and reading. I also enjoy sewing, making crafts and cooking. Taylor (age 6) loves to play with her friends, go to the park, go to the swan pond and play sports. We live in the suburbs of Syracuse in a spacious two-bedroom townhouse. This is our starter home and future rental property. We are planning on moving in a few years or less.

We started our paperchase with our agency, New Life, in April 1999. We requested a child 6 months old. Our dossier logged in to China on February 3, 2000. We wanted to have another child and decided to add to our family through adoption. We researched and thought that China was for us. Taylor is very excited about having a baby sister. Every day, she shares her thoughts with us and tells us what she plans on teaching her. We all look forward to our newest family member whom we will love with all our hearts.
