| I believer it was in June, shortly after spring, Danielle and I hiked 9.9 km in to Elk Creek camp. We stayed there day 2; day 3 we hiked Elk Creek to Ochre River, then half way to Lone Coyote. We trotted on back to Ochre River Site where we ate lunch. often consisting of often consisting of Army rations from here step-father. Some were incredibly tasty. Others...aaahh... After, on back to Elk Creek where we stayed another night. Ended up running into a father and son duo doing the same trail. On the way in we took our time, but on the way out we made good time. We nearly did 5 km an hour. Less weight, of course. |
