Prologue
A tall brunette, about the age of twenty-six, is outside leaning on a
sakura grove. He is deep in thought, and didn't even notice a long-haired
blond coming his way.
"Oi! Tsuzuki-san!!!" the blond called to the brunette.
The brunette still didn't seem to hear him.
"Tsuzuki-san? What's wrong???" the blond asked curiously.
"Kachou's calling me isn't he?" the brunette asked monotonously.
"Ah. This is starting to get to you isn't it?" the blond asked, this
time with a concerned tone.
-- 'Another one huh. . .?'--
"Oh well. Just get the job done and come back unscathed ne?" the blond
said, tapping Tsuzuki on the shoulder, back to his usual genki mood. He
walks back inside the building, and later Tsuzuki walks in too, with a
heavy feeling in his heart. . . for he knows that he will be ending another
life.

At Kachou's office:
"So who's the unlucky one this time?" Tsuzuki asked with a nonchalant
tone
Kachou answered back almost angrily. "Don't talk like that! This is
the path that you chose after all. And I assume that you, more than anyone
else, knows that it's too late to turn back now?"
Tsuzuki merely sighs and agrees with Kachou. It's true, what he said
was definitely right. No matter how he might feel now, it's too late. . .
even to atone for everything that he has done. After all, that's what the
life of an assassin is about; killing without feeling, your only goal is to
get the job done.
"So let's get on with it. Give me the details, so that I can get this
over with. The sooner it is done, the better."
"Our client this time is a very rich and powerful person. He's from a
noble family that claims to be descendants of a hero. And this is the
person he has hired us to kill." Kachou informed him.
Kachou handed the folder containing the profile of their target to
Tsuzuki. Inside, there was a picture. It was that of a sixteen-year-old
boy. Tsuzuki nearly fell over with shock.
"Th-This young!!!? But WHY??? Why would anyone hire us to kill someone
who's so young!? And he looks so innocent!!!!" Tsuzuki argued indignantly
This time, it was Kachou's secretary who spoke.
"It's not for us to question that now isn't it? Tsuzuki-san." He
replied coolly.
"Demo Tatsumi--"
"I believe that you should be getting ready now. Find out all you can
about this, and wait for our go signal before you act. Till then, try to
get to know him." Tatsumi interrupted before Tsuzuki could argue.
"Tch" was all Tsuzuki said before going out of the room and slamming
the door shut. For a second he mused that this would be one mission he'll
have trouble succeeding in, if not totally fail it. He hated this. He
definitely didn't want to do this.
--'How cold, all of them! Even Tatsumi didn't disapprove. Why. . . how
could they just accept this without any second thoughts! Don't they even
care!?'-- Tsuzuki thought angrily. But then it hit him. They DID just
accept jobs without question. . . So what reason would they have to do so
now. . .
However, he was wrong.
Back at Kachou's office. . .
Kachou was discussing with Tatsumi about their most recent job.
"Tatsumi, do you think we made the right decision in accepting this?"
"You very well know the answer to that, Kachou. I was against this
from the very beginning. You DO know that we only accept deals that involve
killing people who HAS to be wiped from the face of this planet. Otherwise,
we refuse it point blank, before even letting Tsuzuki-san know of that
deal. He is the one who does the killing, after all."
"So WHY did you tell me to accept the deal the last minute???" Kachou
asked, half curious and half irritated.
"Because I want to investigate this. This case is very interesting. .
." Tatsumi answered, he seems deep in thought, with a hand in his chin.
"I understand that. I feel the same about this as well. But, you DO
realize that you're using that boy as bait in the process."
Kachou hit him in that statement, and Tatsumi looked pensive in a
moment before making his reply.
"I assure you, Kachou. I won't let anything happen to that child at
all costs." He said with a very protective tone. (And Tatsumi talking about
costs ^_^!)
