Full payment is required on all birds and eggs at time of order and is nonrefundable (unless we are unable to fill your order due to unforeseen circumstances). No eggs will be sent to a quarantined area--no exceptions. No pick-ups on hatching eggs. We usually begin a waiting list for eggs and birds in December or January. Eggs are sent in order paid, once birds begin laying and we have completed fertility checks. Most of our birds start laying in approximately mid- to late April, although some birds will lay earlier and some are laying now. We will contact you approximately one week prior to shipping your eggs, to give you an estimated date for your egg shipment. Eggs are sent via priority mail. Because of the many factors involved, we cannot guarantee hatch rates, but we always do our best to ensure that you receive fresh and fertile eggs, in good condition. We include extras when available. We cannot be responsible for late arrivals of eggs sent priority mail--if you want delivery guarantees, you will have to pay for Express Mail. Farm pick-ups of birds may be arranged with prior notice--no drop-ins. We do not allow people to walk around our property, for biosecurity reasons, so we must bring the birds to a holding pen for you to view. There will be NO exceptions to this rule, for any reason.
