A day in the life...
Maria Hollis guilty of neglect!
photo

Walmart getting sued..Couple months ago we had neglectful parents suing cereal companies for getting their children fat....When exactly will the courts stand up and hold parents accountable for neglect!

This parent, Marie Hollis in South Carolina,  allowed her child to stroll the store at leisure, knowing full well that a danger may await her 10 yr old daughter.  Many children are kidnapped when left unattended in stores, yet this parent neglectfully left her child to roam around a huge store like Walmart. Not once did the parent give any concern for her child's safety.  Now she wants Walmart to pay for her parental neglect.  Obviously this woman is under the illusion that Walmart has child care services.

Thanks to these lazy, good for nothing, neglectful parents...I will not be able to eat sweet cereal, I will have to have a background check for employment and I cannot order supersize at Mcdonalds...Thanks for taking freedoms away from the rest of us...What a bunch of moronic parents there are in todays world.  Not to mention the idiotic lawyers that back them...(mainly ACLU) and the judges and jury that allow this neglect to continue...

Walmart is an evil corporation with deep pockets.Combine that with the death of personal responsibility at the hands of feelgood liberalism and the overall culture of victimhood stir in a dash of greedy trial lawers and juries composed of emotional twits and VIOLA! instant lawsuit. Of course the bottom line in this sort is higher prices for everything, win or lose these frivolous cases cost businesses millions of $ every year.
Its when they go after gun manufacturers and the like that our freedoms are eroded,[thanx ACLU]we need tort reform BIGTIME!

That we do Jim! I was thinking of lobbying to make red headed step children a 'special interest' group......It should surely pass Congress...As it's ridiculous enough...

Well I think this parent should face the fact that she is not a good parent. I never let my children out sight. And wont till they of age. To many people out there that want to harm kids and she should have known that.

Update !! Maria Hollis will NOT be taking home $1.7 to $5 million dollars....

Nine hours of deliberations in two days, the jury has sided with Wal-Mart's defense team. The defense argued the company was under no legal obligation to investigate Randall's criminal past and insisted the hiring process the retailer followed when employing Randall was not perfect, but was "reasonable."

Well thats good maybe she will come to reality and except the responibility to take care of her child and admitting she was in the wrong not Walmart.

I think this woman should be forced to give up any children she has to the State and have her tubes tied. She obviously fails to comphrend the whole point of responsbility and taking care of a child.
