Why surely I will...The song was performed by Kyu Sakmato and was the first Japanese song to hit the charts in America. It was #1 in 1963..Kyu was 18-19 yrs old at the time.

...The lyrics were written by Rokusuke Ei, who is said to have written this 'touching evocation' of loneliness after his heart was broken. Over 40 artist have performed this song in their own renditions..including Ace Cannon (an excellent instrumental performance), Bob Dylan with Tom Petty (a tortured version..lol), Chet Atkins and Styx did a short instrumental version...Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi did and awesome acoustic version..a favorite!
