FBI acting assistant director Chip Burrus said investigators are working on the assumption that all nine fires are connected. DUHHHHHHHHHH.........and I bet if they dig a little more they will find many more church fires were connected....

Investigators looking at race, religion as factors

BOLIGEE, Alabama (CNN) -- The spate of church fires in rural Alabama is motivated by hate, a state official said Wednesday, but it's not clear whether arsonists are choosing their targets on the basis of race or religion.

In the first batch of fires, "four of the churches were predominantly white churches, the other one was an African-American church,"  The next four predominantly black and ......I'm not seeing a race issue here people..I'm seeing an attack on the Christians.  Elementary Watson...!!!

The damage to Spring Valley "wasn't that bad" and is considered an attempted fire, said ATF spokesman Austin Banks. LMSO @ fire not that bad....What a spokesman!!

lol cup. I'm not saying this is right but it probly is an attack on christians because the christians like to judge others so someones paying them back. Whom ever they are they are wrong. What ever they are doing is gana come back and bite them. They are no better then the RELIGOUS BIGOTRIES that put judgemnt on them. Shame, such a shame that we are hurting our own people because of religious believes we are no better the the people over seas.

Christians don't really judge people..people just feel intimindated by them..I've heard many an athiest and agnostic say Christians think they are better...that's just not true...if the athiest and agnostic feel that way..its their problem..not the Christians..I grew up in the bible belt and you will never meet a finer bunch of people in your life..They help each other out...are always there in times of need..

I have those same morals and beliefs...I believe abortion is wrong..homosexual is not right...that does not mean I judge others...it means those are my beliefs..If others are offended by my beliefs...it is not my fault..Obviously they have no faith in their beliefs are my beliefs would not phase them...

Christians are being persecuted for their religion..the church burnings are just the tip of the iceberg..

It is written....

Um i beg to differ i'm not saying all Christians judge but the ones i have come across have. They condrdict themselves for being pro life but then are for the death penalty. Against drinking but go and buy scatch tickets. Claim to pray for the poor and accept money in the offering plate but are driving fancy cars wearing brand new clothes and living in fancy houses. They judge people who don't believe what they believe and try to convert them to their beliefs. This is nothing new. Native Americans were juged in the 1800's forced to convert to christia ways. They never try or forced anyone to their believes and look what happened to them. My self being wiccan have never forced or preached my religion to anyone. And I have never seen or have had a wiccan come up to me in Walmart and try to convert me to their way. I chose to follow my own path because it was my choice not because I was forced into it. If I'm not mistaken the Christians in Salem Mass. Way back then peracuted witches for their believes and ways and burned them at the stake. My point proven on how some Christians judge.

Salem 'witches' were never burned. And to note..some of those accused 'witches' were Christians. The accused witches were put on trial. Those found guilty were hung. The so called burning of witches in Salem never took place as such. They were tried and hung.

I encourage you to read about Ann Putnam..She was 12 yrs old and the leader of the 'circle girls' that sparked the 'witch' hunt. She accussed 62 people. One being a 4 yr old.

And for what its worth, many of the people that were burned at the stake in Europe were christians in years preceding the reformation, who were labeled as heretics. For not adhering to the teachings of the Roman church, but rather for reading the scriptures and claiming freedom of consience. In direct opposition to the corrupt papacy.
Any true Christian, doesn't judge you or anyone,That is for God to do,and he will. But they are charged with spreading the gospels, part of which is to warn a sinful world of God's judgement. That is why Christians are widely disdained, granted any fool can call themselves christian, that doesnt mean they are."by their fruit you will know them"It's like resenting someone for telling you your house is on fire, and to get out or youll burn.they cant drag you out all they can do is warn you. If you enjoy your burning house and refuse to believe its on fire,it's your ass.So don't hate the messenger if you can't deal with the message.

When a Christian announces their beliefs...others tend to take it as judgment...Funny that!! ((wink))
