It's not a crime to be either, though tell that to the right wing in this country. They're out there blasting Bernie Sanders and anyone else that tries to help the poor. Why aren't they doing any of that? Because they're too preoccupied with death and destruction in the Middle East.
Our dependence on oil ensures that terrorism will continue to get worse, resulting in things like 9/11. Speaking of which, just because people don't dwell on it every single day (like you seem to) does not mean that they have forgotten it.
Fear is a powerful tool used by the powers to be to control the masses. I do not live my life in fear of terrorists. I know that in the end, God will judge them all and they will go to hell. God will judge all the Muslim clerics that call for Jihad. God will judge Osama. God will judge Saddam.
I may not agree with everything our government is doing to fight terrorism but no one's denying that it has worked because it has. It's when basic rights are taken away, that I get concerned.
Sorry for this rant. I am sick and tired of watching loony righties foam at the mouth while blaming stuff on the Left all the time. If you stand for freedom, good for you. However, I think people like Dennis Morriseau have more common sense than you. He's a Republican but he cuts out all the typical right wing bullshit in favor of common sense.
