One year ago, the Grand Mistriss of the Ruling Council of the College of
Sorcery died at the age of 120. Recently, after the requisite one
year period of mourning had passed, the Ruling Council chose a new Grand
Master. Because of this, the Council of Ten has now become the nine
and the Council has begun deliberating the appointment of a new member.
The Council has put out a call for wizards to attend a convocation of wizards
in the summer months so that they may interview potential candidates and
determine the newest member. The qualifications for consideration
are as follows: Candidates must be alumni of the College of Sorcery, Candidates
must practice "True Magic," Candidates must have achieved a certain level
of mastery over the Art to be qualified, and finally, Candidates
may not hold dominion over a landed domain, Candidates must have a sponcer
within the Council of Ten and a sponcer within the nobility of Anuire.
Additionally, due to a bylaw passed by the council over 900 years ago,
elves are eligable for consideration and Tuarhievel and Seilwode may sponcer
candidates.
